Semporna Park is another name for Tun Sakaran Marine Park. Bohey Dulang is one of the larger islands that encircle the park. Bohey Dulang, popularly known as "pearl island," is a hilly island made up of the remains of an extinct volcano. The island is well known for the breathtaking view of the island that can be found after an arduous 600-meter walk to the top of the summit. The breathtaking view of the blue lagoon is the climbers' reward. The Tun Sakaran Marine Park also includes the islands of Sibuan and Mantabuan. These islands are typically visited as part of a day trip. The park is a great location for snorkeling and diving because of the clearest seawater and stunning reefs.

Sabah's southeast coast is home to Mataking island. The island is made up of two smaller islands that are surrounded by a white sandy beach and Celebes Sea water. The smaller island is called "Mataking kecil," and the larger island is called "Mataking besar." The tourist can traverse the big island to the small island during low tide. Mataking island lies close to the islands of Timba-timba and Pom-pom. Pom-pom island is surrounded by a beautiful white sand beach and covered in luxuriant green mangroves, which keep the island cool and shaded. Mabul Island is one of the mainland islands that can be reached from the east Malaysian coastal town of Semporna. Mabul Island is a tiny, oval-shaped island surrounded by white sand beaches and crystal-clear water. It is also known as the Amazon of the Seas or the tropical marine waters of the Coral Triangle. It is actually a sandbar where sand begins to develop over the Celebes Sea's water between Sipadan and Mabul island. The word Kapalai island simply conjures up images of crystal clear waters. These chalets are built on tall wooden stilts in the midst of the ocean on a special island where the sandy soil can only be seen at low tide and becomes visible at high tide. Due to its incredible airway of marine life, each island is recognised as one of the best places for snorkelers and divers to go diving and snorkelling.
